About The Event
Join us for an evening pushing the bounds of what live shibari performance can be, as some of North America’s best rope artists take to the stage to challenge, delight and inspire. This show will serve as a bookend to our weekend of stage experimentation, with a profound focus on the history and practice of rope as a performance of live intimacy. Expect to see things that may push emotional and physical boundaries on stage and off. Absolutely no recordings of any variety will be allowed at this show besides ones the performers themselves choose to make.
This show is day three of three evenings of rope, that serve as a space for experimentation as part of a new three day conference dedicated exclusively to the performance aspect of modern shibari.
