*Rope is not required for this class, it will be discussion based - followed by a guided tying by our rigging team
Our goals for this class are to help build soft skills, such as teaching best practices in rope bottoming, gaining confidence in your role as a bottom, further developing your understanding of rope safety, and to discuss communication skills, all of which might help you to figure out why and how you want to bottom. In the first part of class, the discussion will include: What is a Bottom, Consent and Negotiations, What is a Rigger, Expectations in Rope, and Safety.
In the second part of this class, you will practice some of these skills and get a chance to experience the feeling of having a harness placed on you by one of Birdhaus’ experienced team…
