Prerequisites
No prerequisites required, knowledge of a usable single column tie is an asset
Come and learn a range of frictions and how they can be used to construct usable futos and lower body ties for use in your self-tie journey with the folks at Birdhaus.
Frictions are an essential component of any rope journey as both a self-tier and a partnered rigger it allows for structures and tension to be created
We will be focusing on both the bent leg tie the futomomo and general hip and waist rope to start constructing structures usable for restraint and support both on the ground and skills to build into future explorations, some of the frictions that will be covered include the half hitch, munter hitch, X friction, half moon, full moon, L friction and when we might use each one
