Improvisation for Stage and Scene

How do we create compelling performances and beautiful scenes with no sequences or choreography in mind?

On this two hour class we’ll embrace that classic improv technique of yes, and. We’ll discuss ways of cuing our performing parters physically, verbally, and through vibes alone. We’ll explore what it feels like to play off our partners as we work them and the room to create beautiful, playful and engaging experiences for ourselves and our audiences.

You don’t have to be intending to work towards performing to benefit from this class, although some rope experience is required.

Prerequisites:

Riggers: all Bondage basics, and at least a passing familiarity with simple harnesses to get the full ability to participate in the exercises

Models: comfort being both physically and verbally communicative
