About The Event
Join the wonderful world of rope with the good folks at Birdhaus. Whether you’re just starting out, or looking to meet your local Shibari community this night is for you.
We kick off with Your First Rope Class, running from 7-8:30pm
This intro-level workshop will walk you through the very basics of Shibari with an emphasis on play, connection, and accessibility. We’ll teach fundamental techniques in a supportive environment with no prior knowledge or partner required. Loaner rope available, self tying welcome!
From 8:30 - 9:30pm, a lightly facilitated rope singles mixer will occur upstairs, so for anyone looking to meet fellow lovers of rope, experienced or otherwise this event is for you. For anyone who does not want to participate in the mixer, downstairs is available to socialize and tie.
After the facilitated mixer time the space opens up for a general rope social and light tying, so come…
